I'll be taking part in Amman Design Pop-up Shop in Doha, Qatar on the 30th of April till the 15th of June.

You'll find poster prints of my original water color paintings, postcards, and Fann Fun props boxes.

Curated by the design_atelier_, the Amman Design Pop-Up shop will feature unique items from 14 designers living and working in Amman. The pop-up opens at 7pm on Wednesday 30th of April and is on until the 15th of June at Katara Art Center in Doha.

The Studio's Art for Sale opening night happened last Thursday the 5th, if you haven't been, you still have a chance till the 15th. I wouldn't miss it if I were you!

If you're in Amman, tonight is a night you wouldn't want to miss, the opening of Art Week Amman's Art for Sale event at The Studio, which I happen to be part of, with four artworks.

Tonight is the opening night, at 7pm. Be there or be square.

This morning.

I was invited by my dear friend Linda to talk to her kids in class at the American Community School. The kids were adorable, polite and eager to know more about how an artist / designer goes around.

I read them a couple of spreads from my Muslima storybooks and showed them a couple other projects of mine.

Drawing.

In high school I took art class throughout ninth and twelfth grade. We used several mediums: pencil, pen, watercolors, and coal, but my all-time favorite was pencil drawing, I think it was the fact that if I messed up I can erase and redraw...It's been a long time since I had a real pencil in my hand, I don't really know how I stopped...I should get back to that.
