Fashion 4 a Cause tank design.

A few weeks ago a very special event was launched at Wild Jordan. Artists and designers came together and designed graphics that were printed on tank tops, to help raise money for the completion of the King Hussein Cancer Center extension building.

I feel so lucky to have been part of it. Fashion 4 A Cause tank tops can be found at the Wild Jordan shop and PinkDust.

I wish I had photos of the other designs, but here's a good excuse for you to go check them out yourself!

 

This morning.

I was invited by my dear friend Linda to talk to her kids in class at the American Community School. The kids were adorable, polite and eager to know more about how an artist / designer goes around.

I read them a couple of spreads from my Muslima storybooks and showed them a couple other projects of mine.

Stereotypes.

Last semester for school we had to write and design a book about a topic of our choice, I chose religious stereotypes and how people perceive the other through religion..and how that is so wrong.
