And to all the people celebrating Eid this year...  Happy Eid :)

A Peek.

Mr. Jameel (aka Jimmy) was in great spirits for the Eid celebration, on the wall of Pinkdust

ps If you're in Amman drop by the Pinkdust boutique in Abdoun from 3-7:00 to check out their new collection of apparel / art / accessories from the Arab world. (For map go here)

Will reveal more tomorrow after the event. Stay tuned.

Mural.

I will be working on a mural at the delightful Pinkdust boutique tomorrow. I am psyched and can't wait to start splashing paint all over their wall. If you're in town it would be lovely if you could pass-by and say hi.

Kalimat: Magazine Feature.

I'm ecstatic about Kalimat magazine's fall issue, where my thesis project is featured.

"Kalimat Magazine is committed to rejuvenating Arabic culture by providing an outlet for political, cultural and social expression within the Arab region and its Diaspora. At the same time, it is a visual communication tool that serves to change Western perception of Arabs. The purpose is to be an open outlet for expression and to increase participation within the cultural/creative scene, therefore, the content is created by Arab people, the writers are Arab, the editor is Arab, the people featured are Arab."
