Oh, you were fine. But, for some reason, I had the impression that you were kind of annoyed by something. Maybe it was nothing - but, anyway, you did very well :)
Also, congrats on the university teaching thingy! That was very good news!
I'm confident it'll be a pleasant experience for both parties - although when it comes to students in general, one should keep their fingers crossed until they actually see what's in store for them :)
Yeah true, I must say it can really suck for students sometimes when they're forced to take a class with a crappy professor. I've been there, so now I know I should try my best to make my class rock!
You do realize that all (they/them/their)'s were referring to "one", which, in this case, is you :) I should've known better and ignored my lazy hands by simply using the he-slash-she convention ;) It would've been rude of me otherwise, wouldn't it? (after all, I'm on your side) But don't worry, the whole thing was equivocally structured, so, my bad.
And what the heck am I doing by turning this conversation into a linguistic lecture? I better stop typing before I do any further damage :)
P.S. Feel free to ignore this stream of nonsensical babbling.

It was nice listening to you speak, again!
Thanks! Though I secretly wish some of the "uhm's" were edited out, but that's alright, I guess...

Thanks! Feel sorry for the kids that will be under my mercy lol...
Yeah, not annoyed as much as I was sleepless and tiered, it's been a busy week... that calls for a vacay soon!

Good luck!

hahaha you crack me up, don't worry, I ALWAYS misunderstand what's being said to me, so I guess that's normal what just happened here...
Cheers!
