Last night was a highlight in my life, it's a beginning to something I've always believed in and much adored. I was surprized by the positive reaction I got from the  public. Thankyousomuch to the Pinkdust girls Salwa, Sima, and Tala. You girls rule!

She always wears a *thob , works hard to make a living for her family of five, and makes some really good food. Meet Salwa.

*Thob is the traditional Palestinian dress for women which is usually embroidered with colorful patterns; each pattern representing a village.

Copy reads: I'll put you on my head (literally), but it actually means: I'll take good care of you. That's the magic of words.

Fashion 4 a Cause tank design.

A few weeks ago a very special event was launched at Wild Jordan. Artists and designers came together and designed graphics that were printed on tank tops, to help raise money for the completion of the King Hussein Cancer Center extension building.

I feel so lucky to have been part of it. Fashion 4 A Cause tank tops can be found at the Wild Jordan shop and PinkDust.

I wish I had photos of the other designs, but here's a good excuse for you to go check them out yourself!

 

Mural.

I will be working on a mural at the delightful Pinkdust boutique tomorrow. I am psyched and can't wait to start splashing paint all over their wall. If you're in town it would be lovely if you could pass-by and say hi.
