Looking sideways.

One day, I was too enthusiastic about my multitasking abilities, then life hit me hard in the head (again) and my attempts proved to have drastically failed.

This was a cover illustration I did for The Sketchbook Project, which was never submitted.

"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down."

Take your time to recharge your batteries and rethink everything. It's true that the second time you do something is almost always better than the first.

That quote is so inspiring! It is easier said than done sometimes though...

Thank you for the sweet words, I am trying to take my time to recharge, but it is taking longer than anticipated, I'm becoming lazy instead lol

I admit that some quotes are kinda' too positive that they start to upset me!

Life sucks. That's non-negotiable. We can't make it good. All we can do is make it less bad (some might disagree). However, in our down times one thing is key; restlessness. As long as that voice inside you keeps bugging you about how awful your state is, there's still hope, because hopefully one day you'll get sick of it and all your frustration that's been accumulating will lead to a huge storm (a good one), and once you're there, there's no looking back; there'll only be you and what you love doing.

I myself am still struggling, so I guess we're in the same boat for that matter.

@ Anon

I do believe that there are many down sides in life, and you might find yourself in a rut, but I also know for a fact that your happiness lies in your own hands.

That being said, I still think that no matter the mental state you currently are in, there should always be time to grieve (when life is really mean and awful - I hope that never happens but then that wouldn't be realistic, so I'll say "never" just to be polite about it).

Either way, whenever you feel down or in a bad mood, if your like me, I find it best to be around close friends and family, talking things out is usually the fastest way out of it.

* btw you ALWAYS make me rethink my posts (in a positive way) making them feel three-diminsional in some way :)
