That sure is surprising!Nice article (I only wish it was longer.)It's funny (and sad) how some teachers miss the point sometimes. Even if you really hadn't been that good at first (and who had, btw?), then that's exactly why you should've been encouraged to continue to draw. "Practice isn't the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing you do that makes you good." Anyway, it's a good thing you had another teacher to rectify the wrongdoings of that, allow me, idiot.
haha, yes, indeed. It did feel like a slap on the face when he told me that, but who cares now, I guess I have to thank him for giving me that feeling of victory after (obviously) proving him wrong (not trying to sound full of it!).
